Every Flat Creek Rifle is guaranteed to shoot a .5 MOA group (roughly half an inch at 100 yards) with quality factory match ammunition. If your rifle does not shoot to that standard, we make it right.

How long does it take to build a custom rifle?

Typical lead time is 6 to 12 months depending on parts availability, caliber, and the current build queue. We're now booking 2026 builds. After you submit a contact form we'll confirm a realistic delivery window for your specific build.

How much does a custom Flat Creek rifle cost?

Pricing varies by action, barrel, stock, optic, and finish work, but most complete custom builds start in the mid four figures. Send us your build idea through the contact form and we'll send back an itemized quote.

What calibers do you chamber?

Accepted Answer

We chamber nearly any common hunting or precision caliber, from .223 Remington and 6.5 Creedmoor to .300 Win Mag, .338 Lapua, and wildcat cartridges. We use both SAAMI and custom reamers to match the round to your intended use.

Why do you chamber on a manual lathe instead of CNC?

Manual-lathe chambering lets the gunsmith feel the cut, control concentricity, and dial in the throat for a specific reamer and barrel. It produces measurably tighter, more uniform chambers than production CNC work — and it's a major reason our rifles consistently hold half-MOA.

Can I supply my own action, barrel, or stock?

Yes. Many customers bring an heirloom action or a specific barrel they want chambered and trued. We'll inspect anything you send and tell you honestly whether it's worth building on.

Do you ship rifles nationwide?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Completed rifles ship to your local FFL anywhere in the United States. We handle the paperwork on our end and coordinate transfer with your dealer.

Where are you located?

Our shop is at 13424 U.S. Hwy 129, Nashville, Georgia 31639. We work with hunters and shooters across the country, but local customers are welcome to discuss builds in person by appointment.

Do you offer rebarrels, accuracy work, or repairs on existing rifles?
